Where is my diary data stored?

All data is stored on your device. It is not sent to any external servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I transfer my data when switching devices?

Yes, use the backup feature. Export your data as a ZIP file from the settings screen and save it to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, etc. Import it on your new device to restore your data.

Can I write multiple diary entries per day?

Hitokoto is designed for one entry per day. You can rewrite the same day's entry as many times as you like, but you cannot create multiple entries for a single day.

I'm not receiving notifications.

Please check that notifications for Hitokoto are enabled in your device settings. Also verify that the reminder is turned on in the app's settings.
